LRC EMPOWERS FACULTY AND STUDENTS WITH ONLINE DATABASE SUBSCRIPTION ORIENTATION

To strengthen the digital research capabilities of the academic community, the Learning Resource Center (LRC), led by Dr. Ermelina C. Bardilas, facilitated an Online Database Subscription Orientation via Zoom Meeting on October 12, 2026.

The virtual session featured expert speakers from provider CE-Logic Inc. who provided comprehensive walkthroughs of the institution’s electronic resources. Mr. Darren del Carmen guided participants through navigating Gale Research Complete and the Emerald Starter Collection, while Ms. Kristy Anne Corpuz highlighted the features and accessibility of the Philippine E-Journals Database.

Designed to help faculty and students maximize the institution’s electronic subscriptions, the event equipped attendees with practical skills to streamline their academic research. The online orientation was highly interactive, featuring an engaging open forum where participants raised questions, and nine lucky students walked away with prizes courtesy of the speakers.

The Learning Resource Center encourages all students and faculty members to actively explore and utilize these subscribed databases for their coursework, scholarly writing, and research projects.
